Kim Ortega

While working as a teacher’s aide at Oralingua School, and studying to be a teacher for the deaf, Dr. Ortega found her real passion which is helping people of all ages with hearing loss live fuller and richer lives through better hearing. She changed her major to Audiology, earned her Master’s Degree in 2006, and joined our practice as a staff audiologist. She then went on and earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from University of Florida in 2009.

In 2012 she became part owner of our practice. She is currently our Director of Rehabilitative Audiology and leads our provider team. She is an expert in the hearing care technology advancements, and specializes in Bluetooth® connectivity.

“This is my passion and my love. I cannot imagine doing anything else. It is the most fulfilling job anyone could have. I look forward to being at Whittier Hearing Center and serving our patients for the next 40 years!”
